This video traces the process of Samsara Forest: Code of the Sun, a work created through Geometric Embroidery + Sumi Ink Art, from its creation to filming in forest, and finally to its presentation at the The National Art Center, Tokyo.
The work is composed as a diptych (two panels forming a single piece).
Within the layered interplay of geometric embroidery and sumi ink, organic textures and structural forms gradually emerge.
Layers of gold subtly transform the presence of light, unfolding across the surface as a quiet code of the sun.
The layered interplay of Geometric Embroidery + Sumi Ink Art creates a subtle fluctuation between perception and sensation.
本映像は、幾何学刺繍＋墨アートによる作品《サムサラの森：太陽の暗号》の制作から、森の中での撮影、そして国立新美術館での展示に至るまでの過程を記録したものです。
本作はディプティック（2枚で1作品）として構成され、幾何学刺繍と墨の重なりの中で、有機的な質感と構造的なかたちが、ゆるやかに立ち現れていきます。
重ねられた金の層は、光の気配を変化させながら、太陽の暗号として画面に静かに広がります。
幾何学刺繍＋墨アートの重なりは、視覚と感覚のあいだに静かな揺らぎを生み出します。
