The Seed of Red is a symbolic visual work that begins with a red pomegranate ripening in a quiet forest, where dream and reality, the visible and the invisible, softly intersect.
Every ending quietly gives rise to a new beginning.

密やかな森の奥に
真っ赤なザクロの樹があった
夜明け前にだけ熟れ
朝にはひとつ 消えてゆく
森を彷徨う 小さな影
赤い果実に 手を伸ばす
風が枝を鳴らして
ひとつの実が 落ちた
熟れた実の香りが世界を染め
見知らぬ庭が 目の前に咲く
笑う人々 透ける花びら
全てが夢のように 揺れる ラララ
この庭は赤の揺らぎ
まわる光がそっと満ち
秘密の実はまだ眠るまま
甘い予兆だけを香らせる
花が散り 世界は静まり
女は ひとり立ちつくす
足もとに落ちた 小さな種
胸の奥に そっとしまう
手のひらに残る 赤いシズク
私を今も 染めてゆく
胸の奥で 果実が息をする
終わりは いつも 始まり ラララ
森の奥で
またひとつ
ザクロが実った

Deep within a quiet forest
There stood a pomegranate tree in red
It ripened only before the dawn
By morning, one fruit disappeared
A small shadow wanders through the woods
Reaching out toward the crimson fruit
The wind begins to shake the branches
And one ripe fruit falls
The scent of ripeness colors the world
An unfamiliar garden blooms before my eyes
Laughing figures, translucent petals
Everything sways like a dream, la la la
This garden trembles in shades of red
Circling light softly fills the air
The secret fruit still sleeps unseen
Leaving only a sweet premonition
Flowers scatter, the world grows still
A woman stands there all alone
At her feet, a tiny fallen seed
She gently hides it in her chest
A red drop remains upon my hand
It continues to stain me even now
Deep within my chest, the fruit still breathes
Every ending is always a beginning, la la la
Deep in the forest
Once again
A pomegranate ripens
