本シリーズは、古来より人々を魅了してきた「月」の姿を、現代的な感覚で再解釈し、その多彩な表情を描き出す試みです。
雲肌麻紙に、墨・胡粉・金泥・銀泥・金銀箔・岩絵の具を幾層にも重ね、伝統的な日本画の素材と技法を基盤にしながら、モダンな構成と光の表現を融合させています。月は、満ち欠けとともに静かな音楽を奏でています。
私はその響きを「楽譜」として捉え、一幅ごとに光と影のリズムを墨と箔で書き記しました。
今後もこの《月華譜》シリーズをさらに広げ、月が見せる新たな表情を描き続けていきます。

“Gekkafu” — Moonlit Codex Series
The Gekkafu (Moonlit Codex) series is an artistic exploration that reinterprets the timeless beauty of the moon through a contemporary lens.
Using washi (Kumohada paper) layered with sumi ink, gofun (white pigment), gold and silver pigments, gold and silver leaf, and mineral colors, the works combine traditional Nihonga materials and techniques with modern composition and expressions of light.The moon, as it waxes and wanes, seems to play a quiet, invisible music.
I perceive these rhythms as a kind of “score,” inscribing them onto each painting through the interplay of ink, pigments, and luminous foil.The Gekkafu series will continue to expand, revealing new facets of the moon’s ever-changing expressions.
I invite you to immerse yourself in this silent score of light.
